A manifold for any application. PRO-BALANCE manifolds make circuit balancing easy.  You can visually check flow rates and adjust the circuits with the key that comes in the box. These manifolds look professional, which is important, since in most radiant heating, cooling or snow and ice melting projects, the manifold is the only piece of equipment that is visible. PRO-BALANCE manifolds provide all this and more.

Features

• PRO-BALANCE 1-1/4 in. stainless steel manifold
• Each manifold is ready for installation and includes:
  • Supply/return manifold isolation valves
  • Manifold end caps
  • Visual flow gauges on the supply header
  • Circuit balancing/isolation valves on the return header
  • Mounting brackets
  • Vent key and holder
  • Circuit chart
• R-20 connections are available for pipe drops from 3/8 to 3/4 in. circuits with either EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve connections or compression nut style connections.

• Headers: Stainless steel DIN 1.430 (eq. ANSI 304)
• Gaskets: Gaskets AFM 34 synthetic fiber-based material
• Isolation Ball Valves: Nickel plated brass, EPDM, polyamide, polyoxymethylene
• Balancing Valves: Nickel plated brass body, ANSI 304 shaft, polyamide and EPDM
• Flow Meters: Nickel plated brass, EPDM, polyamide, polyoxymethylene

Connections

• Header ends: 1-1/4 in. BSP parallel (straight) threads
• Outlets: R-20 BSP parallel (straight) outside threads
• Isolation valve: 1-1/4 in. NPT female threads

Temperature / Pressure Capabilities

• Maximum operating temperature for 100% water: 180 degrees F (82.2 degrees C) @ 87 psi (6 bar)
• Minimum operating temperature: 14 degrees F (-10 degrees C)
• Maximum water test pressure: 150 psi (10.3 bar)
• Maximum allowable differential pressure: 44 psi (3 bar)

Flow Rates

• Maximum flow rate: 4.0 GPM per circuit; 40 GPM total (0.25 l/s per circuit; 2.52 l/s total)

• Mini Thermometers (250218) sold separately
• Depth of manifold is 4.50" with bracket, valve and mini thermometer installed
• Can be joined to other manifold sections using 1-1/4" BSPP unions (281971-001) or 1 1/4 in. BSPF x 1-1/4" BSPF x 1-1/4" BSPM Union Tee (250228-001)
