Hercules Plumbers Silicone Grease is a superior product that lubricates and prevents corrosion on valve stems, faucets, ballcock linkages, and other places where waterproof grease is needed. When applied to rubber and synthetic O-rings, insures free movement and extended service life of faucets. Plumbers Silicone Grease can also be used on sump and sewage ejector pump linkage to prevent corrosion and sticking.

Will not melt like ordinary grease and can be applied to both steam and hot/ cold water systems, withstanding exposure from -40 to +400 degrees F. Waterproof and heat resistant, Plumbers Silicone Grease will remain intact and not break down or disperse into water stream. Resists wash out even in severe water flow or water wash situations. Safe for use with potable water.

Hercules Plumbers Silicone Grease contains no petroleum products and can be used on plastic and rubber components. A smooth, VOC-free translucent gel maintains consistency under high temp exposure.

Directions for Use

Valve Bodies: Unscrew valve bonnet nut. Rotate valve stem counter clockwise to remove from valve body. Clean stem and threads if necessary. Apply a liberal amount of Silicone Plumbers Grease to the stem and stem threads. Reassemble in reverse order. Tighten bonnet nut lightly. Retighten if necessary to prevent seepage when system pressure is restored.
Ballcock and Float Linkages: Clean and descale first if necessary. Apply liberally to all rubbing and pivoting surfaces. Apply a thin film to all metal parts in contact with water to prevent corrosion and scale build up. Apply to float linkage threads to prevent corrosion.
